The Two-Fowl Swoop

There’s no way you can use ‘foul’ swoops
To solve a thing, I’m sure –
Unless of course they’re shooting hoops,
To try to cut their score.
Or was that ‘foul’ a potent mix
Of most obnoxious fumes?
The only problem that might fix
Is one of clearing rooms.
“It’s not that ‘foul’, you foolish man –
It’s ‘fowl’ kept in a coop!”
Well clearly then if one fowl can –
Beware the two-fowl swoop!
But if with one swoop of your axe
You ‘felled’ a tree – but no,
It seems my logic too has cracks
And it’s a ‘savage blow’.
